About Me

Learn About my Background

An award-winning film and TV composer based in Los Angeles, Axel is committed to creating evocative and emotionally compelling music at studio-level quality on any project he has the privilege of working on.

He has worked with and been mentored by Hollywood giants such as Penka Kouneva, Greg Jamrok, and Esin Aydıngöz, which has given him a unique sensibility for scoring to picture and a desire for working with passionate collaborators from around the world.

Axel's music can be heard in many places, from the walls of Carnegie Hall to the Ad placements of Coca-Cola, to the 15+ films that Axel has scored.

A Berklee College of Music Film Scoring graduate, Axel developed a deep understanding of scoring to picture and has become an expert in the tools to lead a successful career in the film and TV industry.

Axel is always on the search for new, exciting opportunities that may come his way, and believes that the best work between director and composer is created when there is creative conversation and honesty about the experiences that make each person who they have become today.
